    LZ series are mainly usedin the operation of driving-in application, which include LZ-1, LZ-2 andLZ-4, and it is composed with high-impact alloy steel. LZ-1 is single-threaded and can be fully made up in 3 turns; LZ-2 isdouble-threaded and it takes 3/2 turns to fully make-up; LZ-4 is four-threaded withadvantage of making up in only 3/4 of a turn. The two embedded locking devicecan effectively prevent thread back-off from impact of vibration, wind, wavesand ocean currents during drilling operation.LZ series is widely used in the work of jack-up platforms and semi-submersible rigs.
